Overcome Limiting Beliefs from Holistic Nutritionist Point of View
It’s been a tough year.
So I want to have a loving conversation about your progress, goals and beliefs.
🔹 Maybe someone told you that 2020 was the year you could let yourself go and pack on the pounds.
🔹 Maybe someone told you that you have no business focusing on losing weight during this tough time.
🔹 Maybe you really believe that now is just not the right time to make a change to your health or nutrition.
🔹 Maybe you think that nobody is going to support you because there are more pressing national concerns going on.
🔹 Maybe you’re hiding behind fear, uncertainty and overwhelm.
Every single day, as a Holistic Nutritionist & Mindset Transformation Coach, I work with ambitious and committed women who had (and still have) some of those limiting beliefs.
She feels unloved by her partner because she's not pretty enough. She wants to feel more confident, attractive and comfortable in her own skin.
But… What gets in the way? She doesn't recognize her own self-worth. She has been taught limiting beliefs about herself through past experience. And she needs to work through those layers of self doubt to re-establish her own value.
The difference between my nutrition & mindset transformation clients and everyone else is that they now understand those limiting beliefs for what they really are -- FEAR.

Emotions
Appearing
Real.
And because they understand that their fear is disguised as stories in their head, they decided not to listen to them. They decided to rewrite their stories and it shows up as…
💯 I am enough.
💯 There IS room for me.
💯 I can do this.
💯 I am here for the challenge.
💯 I deserve success beyond anything I previously thought possible.
💯 I am someone who can lose the weight I deserve.
💯 I am proud of focusing on my self care.
💯 I know how to balance work and life successfully and happily.
💯 I am no longer controlled by my emotions.
TRUTH: THE ONLY THING THAT’S HOLDING YOU BACK FROM GETTING STARTED AND GROWING ARE THE STORIES IN YOUR HEAD.
I want to talk about how you can successfully make and enjoy life changes, including sustainable weight loss and positive mindset shifts.
But way before the HOW (the tools or techniques that will get you there) we need to focus on the WHY.
If you want to make a change to your life, you have to prepare your mind and connect to your motivation….
To your WHY… What is the real reason you want to change? Why do you want to lose weight? Why do you want to better your nutrition? Why do you want to overcome emotional eating? How is that going to affect your life as a whole? Dig deep!
Your reasons why become the motivation for your change. Your reasons why will ground you during your weight loss journey and emotional eating recovery.
It may not be an easy road and you may face obstacles, but you can overcome them especially when you are crystal clear on your why…. on your motivation and reasons why you want to heal your relationship with food and use nutrition as fuel to nourish your body so you can sustainably lose the weight.
Once you’re clear on your WHY, ask yourself, What are your obstacles that may get in your way? That WHY will be your anchor when your obstacles and limiting beliefs begin to seep in and try to self sabotage your goals.
Maybe your obstacles or limiting beliefs include...
• Beliefs about what is or is not possible
• Negative relationship to your body and to food
• Self-defeating thoughts and behavior
• Biological addiction to sugar
• Toxic food environment of processed, depleted, calorie-rich foods
• Lack of available high-quality foods
• Saboteurs in your home and at work
• Too many responsibilities and trouble saying no to others and yes to yourself
• History of failed attempts to change
What are your obstacles or limiting beliefs?
One of the biggest obstacles that could hinder weight loss success is the belief that we can’t really change our health that much. This is a myth!!
As a Holistic Nutritionist who has worked with hundreds of women, I KNOW you can do everything to change your entire life and send it on a 360 ride to health, vibrancy, and happiness.
And we start by focusing on what’s truly important to you. Be honest, present and accountable with yourself.
You don’t have to wait for next New Year for a chance to start. Every day is an opportunity. A chance to get back into a groove and master this whole life thing.
So, once you get your WHY solidified, and you know your obstacles, think about this: Instead of asking yourself what days you are going to get up early to sweat it out in your basement......or whether you should do a fad cleanse or both….. You're missing the one crucial question you should be asking yourself.
How is this time going to be different?
Ever feel like you’ve been on this rollercoaster ride where...
✅January = We got this. Back on track.
✅February = Eff new years resolutions, they’re stupid anyways….
✅ March = back to the takeout every night because eff it, it got too hard.
And it goes on and on. So again, I ask you - How is this time going to be different? Tell me in the comments *one* self sabotaging behavior that you are going to change this year and how you plan to do it. Writing it down and declaring it helps keep you accountable.
The number one predictor of whether or not someone will be successful *long term* is if they have accountability and support. Do you want to make a real change? A forever change? Or do you want to be having the same conversation with yourself this time next year about how this time it will be different?
How do you want to feel in 3 months from now?
Do you want to feel slimmer and lighter physically?
Do you want to feel more confident and comfortable in your body?
Do you want to feel more positive and calm about stressors and be able to react in a way that doesn’t lead you to the freezer or wine cabinet?
Do you want to feel like you’ve accomplished something great? A true lifestyle transformation?

To sum:
Let go of the self-doubt. Let go of stress & worry. Let go of fear (fear of missing out, fear of failure, fear of success)
Instead, avoid self-sabotage. Avoid self-limiting beliefs. Don’t let your motivation escape by focusing on the past or the future.
